Herryman Moono's Bio
Herryman Moono is an economist with expertise is in economic policy analysis and research spanning health economics (Health Care Financing Policy in Resource Constrained Economies), labour economics, industrial and trade policy as well as international development program management.
A Rhodes Scholar, Herryman graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in Global Health Science (Health Economics) and from the University of Sheffield with an MSc in Economics (International Trade and Finance) and with a BA in Economics from the University of Zambia. He is currently serving as Health Care Financing and Planning Technical Specialist for the USAID Systems for Better Health where I am seconded as Health Care Financing Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Health.
Herryman has previously served as Regional Programme Manager (Sub-Saharan Africa) for Friedrich Ebert Stiftung’s Rights Based Social Protection Project and also served as Country Economist for the London School of Economics’ International Growth Centre in Zambia as well as Programme Manager for the Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Health Financing Program in Zimbabwe. In addition, Herryman also served as National Secretary of the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) between 2015 and 2017.
