The Zambia Health Education and Communications Trust (ZHECT) is a Non- Governmental Organization registered under the laws of Zambia in October 2001 that started operations in April 2002.

ZHECT's head office is located on Plot 1551, Fairview, on Church Road in Lusaka. ZHECT is managed by the Executive Director; Mrs. Chilufya Mwaba- Phiri. Mrs. Mwaba- Phiri is assisted by a governing board which comprises of 8 experienced, skilled, highly respected professionals who provide technical assistance and strategic direction.

Mission Statement
ZHECT facilitates and coordinates multifaceted interventions that aim at reducing the number of new HIV, other sexually transmitted infections and diseases as well as mitigating the impact in Zambia.
